My opinion to this book

In my opinion you should read the book "The Austrailian Connection" because it is a very interessting story about a boy who got to know his real father after 16 years. I think this book was very good, because there were so many exciting parts. For exemple when Alex was in the famous band, and after a very short time there where no success for this band, because there were only one effective song.
You realy should read this book...!

mini saga

In chapter 9 and 10 everything change.
Now the band don't exist, because Pete and Joe drink to much, shave their heads and become rascists.
Dani and Alex have a supid argument, although she and Alex move to england. They celebrate the New Year's Eve and have a new band: "The dolphins".

In my opinion the most exciting and interesting situation in this chapter was at page 48 with the dolphins, because at the end of this chapter Alex explained that this animals can go where ever they want. And in the way I think he want to do this too. Maybe Alex won't to travel so often with the band, and have more time to go to places where he realy want to go.

chapter seven

After reading chapter 7:

In this chapter, Tom and Alex got to know each other better. They had speak a lot and Tom explained to Alex, why he left his family.
After that Alex knew why his father did this, an he understood his decision.

Friday, 8 Feburary
I am so happy that Alex is in australia to meet me.Today I spoke a lot with him. But a little while ago he asked me why I left him and his mom. It was a bit displeasing for me, but I explained it and I think that he understood me. I'm very happy, and I hope he can forgive me.

After read this chapter

At first Tom and Alex didn't speak a lot and Tom made some jokes. But then Alex asked him, why he left his family (his mom and him) (p.32 s.1/2/3) And then he also asked him why he didn't write him a postcard at christmas (p.31 s.23) but Tom only could say 'sorry' to his son, because he wasn't sure if Alex want to have christmascards or something like that. He didn`t know is Alex like his real father.

I wasn't realy right with all this things Alex asked Tom. But I also thought, that he asked him, why he left Alex and his mom.

Before I read the 6th chapter

Predict what Alex tells Tom when he meets him for the first time after 16 years'

If you ask me, Alex asked his father why he didn't contact him, if he was in Brirain too. Or why he left his mom and him. And maybe he will ask him about this sentence he tould Kevin, that he think taht he will never old enough to married and settle down.

chapter four

In the chapter four "The big decision" Dani and Alex had their first disagreement, because Dani showed little blue penguins to Alex, which built little nests in the sand-dunes. Many tourists stood on a big platform and watched down at the floodlit beach. Dani thought, that this little penguins are very very sweet. But Alex wondered, if this cute animals like it too, because they looked very afraid and not happy. So they started an argument together.
In my opinion it is very strage, that they start an argument about this topic. But I think like Alex too, because it is vey bad for the animals to be watched of so many peoples in the floodlit.

Third chapter

In the third chapter "The island and the mountain" Alex went to the south Australia with the son of Mary's brother. He' s called Kevin.
On the St. Mary's Peak Alex and Kevin had talk about Tom. Kevin said, that he were with Tom on this place too. At this time Kevin were nine years old, and Tom talkes to him that he didn't want to get married or have a family. But konw he had married and a family. Alex was angry about this.

"Let him see how HE likes it"
Alex meaned Tom with HE and he thought this, because he was very angry that his father pretend, his own son didn't exist.

first 66 hours in australia

I think that Alex was very happy to meet his real father in australia. And of course he is unhappy that his father were not at the airport to see his son. Only his knew wife and the two children of them were there to say hallo to alex.
In my opinion Alex is very happy that he met this very nice girl. And that they will be very very good freinds.

first chapter

I think, that the first chapter of this book (the australian connection) was very easy to understand and very intersting. But now I don't know, why Alex father left his family. And I think, that the titel of this book is very boring.
